From Annam, with craft
Annamis takes its name from Annam — the ancient name for Vietnam, where artisans have shaped, glazed and fired extraordinary tableware for over a thousand years.

Our story
Annamis was founded by Chef Matt — trained in Europe's finest kitchens — and his wife Phương, whose roots connect to Vietnam's living ceramics tradition. She introduced him to the craft; he knew immediately it had to reach the world's tables.
Every piece carries that story: a thousand-year tradition, made to professional standards, at prices that work for a working kitchen.
Did you know
In the craft villages that supply Annamis, nearly every resident plays a role — from refining the clay to hand-painting the final piece.
The journey of artistry
Local clay is refined and shaped by hand — every silhouette begins on the wheel or in the mould.
Reactive glazes are mixed and applied so no two pieces ever finish exactly alike.
High-temperature firing brings strength, depth of colour and the signature glaze movement.
Each piece is checked to European standards before it's packed for service.
Zero-waste initiative
We work directly with craft communities — fair trade, safe workshops, and a kiln-side commitment to reusing and reducing waste at every stage of production.
And we give back where the craft lives: 2.5% of profits support Saigon Children's education programs in Vietnam.
